Plug in any Apple iPhone or iPad with a Lightning connector into this 10cm Apple Lightning HDMI (Female) adaptor cable to enjoy Youtube, photos and even some apps on the big screen!
Just plug the adaptor into your Apple device, hook up the included Micro-USB Cable for power (as Apple devices provide very little power over the Lightning port) and use any of our standard Male to Male HDMI cables to connect to your TV, Projector or any HDMI enabled display. It's super easy to use whenever you want for presentations, parties or slideshows!
Now with the latest Apple software update, you can mirror all non-protected content from your iPad or iPhone to your TV or HDMI-Compatible computer monitor in resolutions up to 1080p.
Content Protection: Apps with protected content, such as iTunes Movies, Netflix, Stan, Amazon Prime, Apple TV+ and Disney+ will not work with this adapter due to their use of the HDCP content protection system. However, Youtube, games, presentation apps most other applications will work perfectly.
Please note: When you first connect your iPhone, iPod or iPad to this cable you'll be asked if you trust this device and may be asked for your pass code to confirm. This is a normal security feature of you iDevice and your pass code won't (and can't) be used by the cable in any way. You may also on rare ocassions be told by your iDevice that the cable may not be supported, simply dismiss this notification as it's irrelevant. After the first time setting up the cable you shouldn't need to do it again.
The included Lightning port on the adapter not only is required to power things, but it also works to charge your phone/iPad at the same time - so you don't end up with a flat batery halfway through watching a video on YouTube, or while presenting during a meeting!
Depending on your TV or monitor you may need to wait 5-10 seconds for the devices to handshake and display a picture. In our own tests the handshake only took a second or so but please bear this in mind if you don't immediately get a picture.
