I love clicky buttons!
Select between two VGA source devices to show on a single display (one at a time), or switch a single source to show on two screens (one at a time).
There's nothing quite like a mechanical button when it comes to electronics gear. So many devices have soft little micro switches which don't make any sound and are hard to find in the dark. But not our VGA switch! This 2-way VGA switch has nice clunky buttons that lock into place to let you know when things are good to go.
Using the best in mechanical switching technology (a printed circuit and two sets of 15-pin contacts), this passive device can work in either direction as a two-in-one-out selector, or a one-in-two-out switcher. It requires no external power and makes minimal impact on signal quality.
Great for switching between VGA sources like old computers to run both on one screen, or the other way to have one VGA source go to to different monitors (one at a time only). With no chipsets or boosters inside, your maximim cable run will still be limited depending on your resolution requirements.
We stock a huge range of VGA cables, too - so be sure to grab the lengths you need!

You may have heard the letters HDCP strung together in an unpronounceable word before. Maybe you've seen it written on the back of the box containing your shiny new audio visual device. Possibly you've not been able to get your shiny new AV device to work and have been told "oh that sounds like a HDCP issue" and you've nodded your head feigning your understanding only to walk away from the conversation more confused than before. Well let's clear things up and take a look at what exactly those four mysterious letters actually mean. [

These days, a single monitor setup almost feels like a punishment. The experience of constantly expanding and minimising windows to perform a simple task knowing how easy it would be with a second monitor is frankly archaic. So this must be what Marty McFly felt like in 1955. Now unless you're a masochist, it might be time to introduce your display to a friend or two and experience how much better things can be. [

We all love the immersive experience of watching a movie from the comfort of our couch while an array of encircling speakers' envelope us within a wall of sound that transports us from our living rooms into the middle of the action taking place on screen. But as great as that is, there are times where this kind of set up isn't ideal. Sometimes, a more private and personal experience is required. [

Question:
Does this Vga switch work with Windows 10? I have noticed a lot only go to Windows 8?
Answer:
"Yes. This VGA Switcher requires no drivers and can operate on any VGA inputs and outputs. They can be Windows-based PCs from '95 through 11, or they can be old TVs, Monitors, Projectors and anything in between.
The switch operates exclusively with VGA video signals and don't carry any other type of data which would be impacted by an operating system version. It is the push-button equivalent of unplugging a VGA cable from one device and plugging it into another."
