This 4-Pole TRRS adapter is compatible with all 3.5mm TRS (stereo audio) and TRRS (stereo audio + microphone) cables as the adapter is straight-wired... meaning it only functions to carry the signal through the adapter, with no change to the wiring configuartion. Use this adapter in situations where you require your cables to connect at right-angles to the socket, and not poking straight outwards.

TRRS Wiring Standards
This adapter is wired straight through, meaning it doesn't change anything with your cable pin configuration. In simple terms, if your regular 3 or 4-Pole 3.5mm cable already works on your device, it will work through this adapter. If however you are running into some problems between the two common TRRS standards, that is OMTP and CTIA wiring, we also have a right-angled TRRS adapter which converts between these two standards.
