Splice a single HDMI source, such as a PC or 4K Blu-Ray, to display across up to 4 screens as though it was a single TV. Great for point of sale displays, retail advertising and digital billboard signage, as well as ultra wide-screen applications such as gaming, sports and other displays where a single TV just isn't big enough. Supports an input resolution up to 4K/30Hz.
The most attractive pre-configured mode is a 2x2 arrangement of TVs, allowing for a single source to be split into 'quarters' across four displays arranged in a square. By pairing this controller with displays designed with ultra-thin bezels, you can create a single gigantic display from a quartet of HDTVs in a matter of minutes.
Also included are landscape and portrait modes from two to four screens each, as well as a duplication function that works just like a HDMI splitter (all TVs show copies of the same thing). On top of that is audio splitting with Digital Coaxial and Optical SPDIF and Stereo AUX modes, with configurable output formats including 5.1, 2CH and EDID controlled. The remote control includes direct access to all splicing configurations, and all of its functions are available through RS232 as well.
Usage is simple; just turn the unit on, attach your source, then connect each TV in the order you'll use them. The best results are achieved with a 4K input split between 4 x 1080p displays, but more resolutions are compatible if you don't mind a loss in image quality from scaling/stretching. User configurable options are at a minimum here, with the benefits of plug-and-play operation offset by a lack of bezel adjustment.
Of note are the vertically stacked configurations, which require unusual custom resolutions to be configured on the source device. For example, a 2x1 vertical arrangement requires a custom resolution of 1920x2160. For a 3x1 vertical stack, a resolution of 1280x2160 is necessary. For a 4x1 vertical stack, a resolution of 960x2160 is required. These tall, narrow resolutions will give very poor image quality and are not recommended for text display. These resolutions are also not available by default under Windows or Mac, and you may require third-party software to define them depending on your system. We successfully tested the 1920x2160 configuration under Windows on an Intel HD graphics processor.

Sometimes your displays may be flipped accidentally or when first connected. Use the < and > buttons to flip screen pairs. If these buttons change the screen layout instead, turn off the OSD by holding the OSD button for 3 seconds and try again.
