The trendiest desktop PC cases these days are full-tower behemoths that scream power and performance at every turn. From neon and led lighting to window panels and water cooling, they need plenty of space to cram in all the eye candy and still leave room for a motherboard, a dozen hard drives, two power supply units and your LCD system monitor readout (and an oversize aftermarket CPU cooler!)
When you have that sort of area to manage, connecting up components becomes less a problem of tight spaces and more a problem of cable lengths. That's a good reason to invest in a couple of spare 50cm SATA Cables (SATA / SATAII Compatible). Note: While SATA cables have not physically changed as the speed of hard drives has increased, and our cables are suitable for all SATA speeds (1.5 Gbit/s, 2 Gbit/s. 6 Gbit/s), we have not yet tested these cables at the new SATA v3.2 16 Gbit/s standard.
