10 AWG speaker cable is overkill for most consumer-level speaker systems, but when you need to drive a powerful system with minimal insertion loss, this super-thick cable is the only solution. This heavy duty cable is harder to work with, but pays dividends on high wattage speaker systems over both short and long distances by reducing resistance - great for 2 ohm and 4 ohm systems!
Transparent PVC jacketing covers 99.95% oxygen free copper cables, and each line has 105x0.254mm strands. A red trace line ensures you don't mix up the terminals, too. Best when paired with spade or banana plugs for easy connection to equipment, but can work with binding posts and soldered terminals, too. Not for use with spring-clips!
10AWG Hints: 10AWG is not for the faint of heart, so be prepared to struggle with this heavy, unyielding cable. For a 2 ohm system, you want your maximum 10AWG length to be 15 metres or so. For a 4 ohm system you can go up to 30 metres. Each speaker pair should be wired with the same length of cable to match impedance.

forget overpriced Monster plugs, just get these and put an end to the contortions you need to put your body through
no to mention the wondering if theres an loose wire poised at shorting out your speakers. Not only are they practical in saving your back and putting your mind at rest, they add a little bling to the back of your AVR. J
