The most cost effective solution to 4K@60 HDMI extension!
For those who need the best of everything! Extend 4K/60Hz HDMI over CAT6 cabling up to 70 metres with a local HDMI loop-out option. Also supports uncompressed video, audio, IR extension AND power delivery over a single CAT6 cable. You only have to power the sender unit, as the receiver gets its juice via the CAT6 line!
Pumping Ultra High-Definition 4K/60 HDR video and audio over seventy metres can be accomplished a number of ways, but optical HDMI and SDI equipment can get expensive fast. By relying on a good quality CAT6 cable, this HDMI extender kit can deliver up to 4K60 content at 4:4:4 chroma (or below) at a fraction of the cost. Replacing a damaged CAT6 cable is much cheaper than replacing an entire optical HDMI lead, so it's a good option for high traffic areas.
This kit includes the sender and receiver (which must be linked directly and can't go via your Ethernet network), the AU power pack and a set of IR sender and receiver modules that you don't have to use if you don't need them. Operation is plug and play, with no user-configurable options to confuse things. The IR sender/receiver can be attached forwards or backwards, enabling control of the source from the remote display, or control of the remote display from the source (but not both)
HDR10 and HLG High Dynamic Range is supported, and we tested to confirm this unit has ultra low latency for real-time content like video games. Great for the home or a commercial installation when you need imperceptible sync delays. To achieve this, the kits come as set pairs that can't distribute to multiple receivers.
Make no mistake; this unit was designed for delivering uncompressed 4K video and audio over long distances. Also built into the transmitter unit is a HDMI output port so you can run the same signal to a local TV or monitor at the same time as sending to the TV 70m away. You won't find this kind of power or clarity at 70 metres anywhere else! Don't forget to grab some HDMI and CAT6 cabling while you're here!

Question:
My house is wired with ethernet cable. I want to be able to watch vlc files stored on a PC on a screen in another room less than 50 metres away. At present I am able to do so using a vga to ethernet converter from the PC and then an ethernet to vga converter at the screen.
Will this product enable me to achieve the same result with HDMI instead of vga?
Answer:
"Yes, but you will need two ethernet cables instead of one as HDMI cannot be sent over just the one ethernet cable."

Question:
What issues can arise when using this product with Apple TV?
I'm planning on using this device to send HDMI from Apple TV to a projector just over 40m?
Answer:
"Protected iTunes content may not make it to the projector. We've not had the opportunity yet to independently test this device with Apple TV to know for sure how it will handle protected content. Many devices like switches, splitters, extenders, converters, and even AV receivers can be blocked by Apple TV due to content protection, but we can't know which ones are affected without testing."
