No wall socket? No Problem! Take the power with you.
We don't always have easy access to power, but we constantly need to ensure our phones and handheld devices are charged for work, emergencies or play. For all those times you need to leave the house for business, travel, holidays or trips where power is not always available to you, a 20,000mAh large-capacity power bank can be a real life-saver!
When on the go, you can make a power withdrawal by attaching your mobile device using its own charge cable. You get three choices of ports with two regular USB Type A connectors putting out 5V/2.4A each, and one USB-C port offering 5V/3A. The same USB-C socket is used to charge up the power bank itself using the included 15cm cable, and a clear digital display shows the percentage in clear numbers. You can charge up to three devices at once, but they will share the total 15W capacity between them.
Some other power banks have more bells and whistles, but the Cygnett brand has won HIGHLY RECOMMENDED awards from CHOICE (for the previous version of this model), so you know you're getting a quality battery pack you can rely on. And with a 20,000 mAh cell inside, you'll get plenty of extra work and play for your dollar.
What is an mAh and how many do I need?
mAh (milliamp hours) is the number used to measure how much charge a battery can hold and discharge over time. Moving power between batteries is not very efficient, so you always want to have a bigger power bank rating compared to the device you want to charge up. Three times the mAh is a good rule of thumb if you want to charge a device from empty to full, but you'll get a lot more mileage out of a power bank if you charge between 20% and 85% rather than 0% to 100%.
