All of the adapters I have here are real professionals. They get down to business instantly in a never-ending effort to convert, join, gender-change and/or extend your signals in a variety of crazy applications.
Well, except for this one. Oh sure, it gets the job done with the same level of competency and enthusiasm as all its brethren, but the HDMI Female to DVI-D Female Adapter is constantly rocking the boat by turning up at the warehouse in loud shirts and crocs, typically whistling or singing or quoting lines from the latest Hollywood blockbuster. Quite frankly, its energy would be better spent on your home theatre setup.
That said, if you have a need to join together a HDMI cable and a DVI-D Dual Link cable, or even if you just need to convert an input/output to a more convenient socket type, then I urge you to give this little guy the freedom he's been crying out for. As the DVI standard only supports video, any audio channels will not be passed through to the DVI side of the connection from a HDMI source.
Converts from a DVI source to a HDMI display, or from a HDMI source to a DVI display, for video up to 1080p.
Always check your cables and connections first to make sure your intended adapter purchase matches male to female and vice-versa on both ends for your application.
