This USB Type-C (Female) to Type-A (Male) Adapter is designed to offer the fastest charging rate available on the connected cables and hardware. If everything is 10A compatible, you can charge at 10A! It is not designed for data transfer, but does have normal USB 2.0 480Mbps support all the same. Converts any standard USB 2.0 or 3.0 Type-A socket into USB Type-C at up to 10A max - don't throw out your old chargers, just adapt them!

This adapter offers an easy way to charge your USB-C devices (like modern mobile phones) from the older USB 2.0 Type-A sockets and keep your existing wall chargers in service longer. When paired with 10A cables and wall chargers, you can achieve full-speed 10A charging. Likewise, if using 6A rated cables or chargers, you'll get 6A max charging so-on down to standard 2.4A rates.
The vast majority of USB-A ports only charge up to 2.4A, sometimes 3A with certain QC ports. However, if you plug this little adapter into something like Huawei's SuperCharger USB-A chargers you can get up to an eye watering 6A (11V, 66W). 6 Amp and 10 Amp features aren't very common yet, so not everyone's going to get that sweet SuperCharger output, but you are guaranteed to get the fastest charging speed possible from whichever USB-A port you're using!

Please note that legacy USB 2.0 Type-A ports do not support USB-C features like 10Gbps Data Transfer, USB-C Power Delivery (PD), and USB-C Alternate modes for Video output. For these features you must connect directly to a compatible USB Type-C port.
