An easy way to watch live footage coming out of any Serial Digital Interface device.

This tiny unit converts FROM an SDI source TO a HDMI signal for video only. The BNC input takes SDI, HD-SDI and 3G-SDI input signals and outputs them via HDMI at resolutions of 720p to 1080p, at 23.97/24/25/29.97/30/50/60 refresh rates. Please note that this converter does not support SD signals (480i and 576i), and is not compatible with Blackmagic devices and some Sony Bravia TVs.

Supported SDI input resolutions range from 480i right up to 1080p @ 30Hz, which are then converted into the nearest HDMI standard between 720p and 1080p for the best possible picture quality. Supports SD-SDI, HD-SDI and 3G-SDI up to 2.97 Gb/s. The unit is powered by the included USB cable, and both PAL and NTSC video formats are supported.

Now you can take footage directly from security and broadcast camera systems and see their output on a regular television! Please note that audio is not supported by this unit.

Compatibility Notice: Plase note that this SDI to HDMI Converter does NOT support Sony & BlackMagic devices.

Question: Does this product support an SDI 25 Progressive frames signal input? Will it also decode the audio embedded in the SDI and push it out with the HDMI output? thank you?
