Note: USB Industry Standards dictate that cables should be under 5 metres in length (including when using an unpowered coupler) in order to guarantee that advertised speeds and functions are available. If you need a run longer than 5 metres, consider our USB Repeater cables.

Note: This adapter makes it possible to join devices together that aren't meant to be connected. Cable Chick cannot guarantee that devices will work as expected if they are not joined in paired host/slave configuration. Eg: It is not possible to join two smartphones together for file transfer, as they are both 'slave' devices and a host controller is not present. They'll simply ignore the connection unless they are both specifically built to work that way.
