They give you a super-handy bracket for your screws to grip into so that you don't strip plaster pieces out of the wall with your power drill, and give you peace of mind when the times comes to pull cables out of their sockets.
As with any DIY project, please ensure that you measure thrice, cut once, and don't lose your tools down the hole in the wall you just made! These C-Clips are suitable for most standard Australian single-gang wall plates, but aren't much chop for anything smaller (like our Architrave wall plates) or larger (like our double-gang kits).
